History Hike of Maybury State Park

September 19 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am

Join in learning how Maybury State Park became a State Park.

Prior to being Maybury State Park, the 944 acres were home to a tuberculosis Sanitorium.

Meet at the Trailhead building and find out all about Maybury from the very beginning.

The Park has 2 Action Track Chairs available on a first come first reserved basis for anyone with mobility challenges.  The Park also has several pairs of EnChroma glasses for those with red-green colorblindness that can used as well.  To reserve either of the above listed for this event, call the park office at 248-349-8390.  Both are free of charge to use in Maybury State Park.
