We invite YOU to join the Friends of Maybury State Park
The Friends of Maybury State Park is a nonprofit volunteer group dedicated to the support of Maybury State Park. We host and support various activities in the park and rely heavily on volunteer efforts/funding. We partner with the DNR and other organizations to support the park. All funds raised are used for specific park improvements, accessibility, educational opportunities, and for the enjoyment of park visitors.
The Friends of Maybury State Park is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, and your dues and donations are tax deductible as allowed by law.
Memberships run from January 1 – December 31 of each year.

Monthly & annual meetings
Members are encouraged to attend our general meetings and are always welcome. All regular meetings are held the 3rd Tuesday of each month (there is no meeting in December) at 7:00pm at the Maybury State Park Office located at 49601 Eight Mile Road, Northville, MI 48167. We offer a Zoom Link for each meeting for members who would prefer to attend virtually.
The Annual Meeting of the Friends of Maybury State Park replaces the regular monthly meeting each January. The Annual Meeting features updates on the previous year’s activities, special presentations, and the election of the Board of Directors. Guests are also welcome. The Annual Meeting is usually held at the Northville Public Library located at 212 W. Cady Street, Northville, MI 48167.
