Help us make Maybury State Park better
The Friends of Maybury State Park was originally formed in 1996 to support Maybury State Park through volunteerism and financial assistance with corporate grants, donations, and membership dues. We work side by side with park staff to create an enjoyable and safe environment for all visitors.
We use our resources wisely and focus on important projects such as trail improvements, trail markers, history and nature hike plaques, accessibility and more. Look for our logo or signs on our projects throughout the park. We have been able to secure grants from private and philanthropic people/organizations as well as from the Michigan DNR. All donations, grants, and membership dues go directly to park improvements.
The Friends of Maybury State Park is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization and donations are tax deductible as allowed by law.
The Friends of Maybury State Park is operated entirely by volunteers.
