The Friends of Maybury State Park is always welcoming new volunteers. There is no time or day commitment necessary. Find an area that interests you and we’ll help you help us. Volunteer when you want and balance the level of commitment with your schedule. You don’t have to be a member to volunteer.

Community Liaison
The Friends of Maybury State Park welcomes members from surrounding communities who are willing to serve as a liaison for the organization. We are looking to increase the awareness of our mission in all our surrounding communities and would like to improve our community engagement. Duties of a liaison would be to make suggestions throughout the year on community events and venues in which the Friends of Maybury State Park could advertise or participate. These events could be such things as displays in civic buildings, volunteer fairs or community festivals. It also could include suggestions on park improvements or on programming you feel the community would enjoy seeing.
Time commitment would be minimal and the majority of the work could be performed virtually. Attendance at monthly Friends of Maybury State Park meetings either in person or virtually is always welcome but not required. Information can be sent to a Friends Board Member on an as-needed basis. If this is of interest to you, please contact us.
