Valued Novi Members:

The Friends of Maybury State Park is in need of a Novi resident that is willing to serve as a liaison for the organization.  We are looking to increase the awareness of our mission in all our surrounding communities and realize that we could do better in community engagement in Novi.  Duties of the liaison would be make suggestions throughout the year on community events and venues in which The Friends could advertise or participate.  These events could be such things as displays in civic buildings, volunteer fairs or community festivals.  It can also include suggestions on park improvements you have or on programming you feel the community would enjoy seeing.

Time commitment would be minimal and the majority of the work could be performed virtually.  Attendance at monthly Friends of Maybury meetings either in person or virtually is always welcome but not required.  Information can be sent to a Friends Board Member on an as needed basis.  If this is of interest to you, please reach out via the Contact Page of our website.  Thanks for your consideration.
