New Year’s Day Hike

Join us in starting the New Year off on the right foot!  Meet at the Trailhead Building (8 Mile Entrance) for the 10 am guided hikes.

A hike (approx. 1.5 miles) will be offered for those desiring a shorter hike and ideal for families. A longer hike (2-3 miles) will be offered for those looking to hike a longer distance.  All ages welcome. All dogs need to be on a 6 ft. leash.  Bundle up and join in the fun. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the start time of the hike.

Travelin’ Tom’s  beverage truck will be on site offering a variety of warm drinks for purchase.

Program is free.  All vehicles entering the park require a Recreation Pass.  The Recreation Pass can be purchased at any state park office during regular business hours (8 am – 4:30 pm) , at Maybury State Park’s self-serve kiosk just past the entrance booth on the right and when renewing your license plate tabs with the Secretary of State.  For further information on recreation passes, visit www.michigan.gov/recreationpassport
